.. but what, something on my lip? What does it look like? WHAT IS IT?!

Poor Gizmo had a nasty dose of some weird wart thing for a few months. They kinda came out of nowhere and he ended up with 3 or4 of them at once, most of them inside his mouth but one HUGE one outside on his lip.. as you can see from this pic.

Some dogs love baths. Most hate them .. these 2 pooches hate them with a vengence. I have to play with them a bit, do something like throw a towel over their head and pick them up and quickly carry them in and drop them in the tub before they realize. Otherwise they just kinda tense up and spread all their legs out and it’s hard to get them through the shower door.

I’d just given Gizmo a bath here too. Funny he’ll run into the ocean but freaks out in the shower. He goes nuts afterwards though, and Indy chases him while he rubs himself on any dry furniture/clothing/bedding, etc. to try and get drier.

.. we’re going to chew it into little pieces when you leave us alone with it.

They weren’t really fighting, they just met each other and stopped like that for a few moments, sniffing and checking each other out. Hilarious to watch though.

No it’s not what you think, I think that might be illegal.

It’s become a daily ritual, we go to the dog park, come back, they eat, then get down to some wrestling and chasing each other. Indy is so good with Gizmo, she hunkers down and Gizmo pretend attacks her, relentlessly. They’ve started doing it during the day times a bit too.

Gizmo’s learned to get in real close so she can’t get a hold of him. He’ll usually tackle her from behind but isn’t averse to getting on something higher and jumping on her, e.g. she’s on the floor and he jumps on her from the bed.

I’ve seen them stop motionless staring at each other, psyching each other out, until one cracks looks away or jumps on the other. I often just sit and watch them doing this and sometimes wonder if they are showing off for me when they see they have my attention. Way more entertaining than t.v.!
